How to Edit Music?

The music editing tutorial contains the following steps:

1. Input an Audio File

2. Select a Region

3. Edit the Selected Waveform

4. Save the Changes

SuperEZ Wave Editor is a full featured professional music editor for both beginners and advanced users. It allows you to edit music visually on the zoomable waveform. With the powerful and user-friendly audio editing software, you can edit audios nondestructively with basic editing functions such as cut, copy, paste, mix, etc.

Music Editing Guide

1. Launch SuperEZ Wave Editor. Click "Open" button and a browser window will be activated. Choose an audio file as wanted from the window and click "Open" to add the file to the waveform window. (You can add more than one audio file to the task window to edit.)

2. Select the region you want to edit. There are 5 ways to select a region: click anywhere of the waveform as a starting point and choose "Select to Start" or "Select to End" from the dropdown menu of the "Edit" to select the region of the file; click the left button and drag along with the waveform to the place wanted to be selected; specify the start & end of the section by dragging the sliders below the waveform window; activate the selection tool at the bottom of the editor to input the specific time to choose a region; click "Select All" in the dropdown menu of the "Edit" to select the entire file.

With selection tool, you can select a region precisely to millisecond.

3. After selecting a region, click "Edit" button to edit the selected region with basic editing process such as cut, copy, paste, crop, delete and many more. If some mistakes are made when editing audio file, don't worry about it, you can use Unlimited Undo & Redo to correct them.

4. Click the "Save" button to save edited audio file to the output folder which is same as input. Or click "Save As" to save the edited audio track with a different file name and/or location. You can choose an output format and choose the preset quality or specify the configuration parameters of the output format, then click "OK" to save file. Now, have an entertainment with edited music on your music player!

Save the Changes


We suggest you use "Save As" to output the edited file unless you have backuped the original file.
